Convenient location for exploring the area. Loved the scenic reserve and the magical cave. The restaurant and bar were a nice touch.
Oh, just the most amazing caving adventures right at my doorstep. Such a pity I didn't have time to try them all.

Location: the hotel was near Restaurant and Continental Breakfast, and the Waitomo Caves as well as other natural beauty. I had reasonably large, newly renovated room with a telephone, coffee, and a chair.
Nothing, no complaints at all!

The hotel offers great value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail is impressive, especially with the rooms having triple glazed windows to ensure a peaceful night's sleep. The location is convenient for exploring the natural beauty of the area, as it is just a short drive away from the caves. The staff provide excellent service and the rooms are equipped with all the basic amenities, including comfortable beds and air conditioning.
Nothing to fault, everything was just perfect.

The cabin is quite spacious and clean, and it comes with a well equipped kitchen. There is no central heating so there are two portable heaters heating the place prior to our arrival. It is located near a waikomo store where you can buy milk, bread, fruits etc. They have a fabulous price on apples, kiwi and orange, all organic. I got a big bag of each of them. Since we have a kitchen, we save money by making our own food. The staff is nice and friendly. They gave us some milk to welcome us. We had a good rest that night.

The kids loved running around in the open fields, spotting colorful birds, and splashing in the crystal-clear swimming holes. It was a great place for us to relax and enjoy some family time amidst nature's beauty.
For dads, it would be great if there were some more outdoor activities specifically designed for children.

Couldn't find any faults at all.

Good view and clean bathroom. The location was convenient for exploring the area and the view from the window was quite nice. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The room was spacious enough for what we needed and the price was reasonable.
Noise and outdated furnishings. The noise from the road outside was constant and disruptive, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The property and our room was very clean. It was a quiet place and everyone seemed to have their own privacy. Having a restaurant and bar onsite was also very useful. It was close to Waitomo where we had planned to do some activities, and the staff were very friendly, helpful and laid-back.
Perhaps not enough signage when locating the property, or nearing it. As it is on the main road it's quite difficult to pull in when travelling from the North. At high speeds you have to be aware of cars on both sides of the road, travelling at high speeds also.

There was only one lady on duty , however she attended to our needs very promptly and courteously. We stayed there on a Sunday night and the lady was not authorised to sell alcoholic drinks , but this was fine by us. Our overall experience was quite good and the lady filling in for others was great and very friendly and helpful.
